About the Role

At the Futures Leadership Network, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Intern to assist our growing agency. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s success. A Business Development Intern is responsible for helping our organization increase sales through lead generation, marketing, and other corporate strategies. As a Business Development Intern, your job duties include identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities.

  • Development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.

  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.

  • Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration.

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.

  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics.

Requirements

Required

  • Enrolled in an accredited university or college with the ability to receive credit

  • Knowledge in B2B sales and negotiation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of sales techniques

  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
