Philadelphia Inquirer's Diversity & Inclusion Gala Honors Millennial Ventures CEO
The Philadelphia Inquirer hosted its first annual Diversity & Inclusion Gala at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last month to acknowledge and honor the region's most influential leaders in a variety of diversity and inclusion capacities.
Our CEO, Dr. Brandi Baldwin was among the honorees that evening, receiving the "Outstanding Ally" award for her work in supporting diverse entrepreneurs in the region.
During her acceptance speech, she took a moment to acknowledge her faith, citing a scripture with the message that "God has no favorites." She urged the audience to "choose love" when engaging with people who are different from them. Her sentiments were received with a roaring applause from attendees. As a part of the festivities, Dr. Baldwin was also selected to be in a featured article about her work and perspectives on diversity.
